To Disable a User Account
  1. Go to Vision - Registration, select the patient and click the Online Services tab.
  2. To disable the patient’s Online Account the following options are available:
    • Global - Remove tick to disable all services
    • Appointments - Remove tick to disable all online appointment functionality
    • Repeat - Remove tick to disable online repeat prescription functionality
    • Acute - Remove tick to disable online acute prescription functionality
    • Patient Messaging - Remove tick to disable the ability of a patient to send the surgery a message via their online account
    • Summary Data - Remove tick to disable the ability of a patient to view their online summary data
    • Detailed Coded Record - Remove tick to disable the ability of a patient to view their coded medical record online
    • Pharmacy Nomination View - Remove tick to disable the ability of a patient to view their preferred pharmacy
    • Pharmacy Nomination Update (England only) - Remove tick to disable the ability of a patient to update their EPS nominated pharmacy
  3. Remove the Enabled tick and type a reason in Notes if required.

    Account Disabled

    The patient cannot use the Online Services you have disabled.

  4. Click OK, to save and close. If the patient attempts to log in they receive a message confirming their Account is Locked.

  5. The Account can be Reactivated by ticking Enabled against the service required. The patient can now log in without having to re-register, see Re-enable On-line Services.
